Tarantulas shed their skin as they grow, like a snake. I have figured out how to take the shed skin and mount it with out killing the spider. This is a photo of one of my spiders shedding. |

Below is a close-up of the fangs. Looks real doesn't it? That's because it is, and the spider is living happily in her tank. I will be ready when she sheds again. |
